Artisan Luu Khanh Toan's latest discovery combines the finest elements of Vietnam's tea and coffee culture. This harmonious blend pairs the exclusive LKT coffee, grown at 1,600 meters above sea level in the Central Highlands, with ancient Shan tea from the Northwest.
A Legacy of Excellence
Born in Hanoi, 72-year-old Luu Khanh Toan found his passion for coffee in the Central Highlands in the 1990s. Over two decades of meticulous research and experimentation led to the creation of LKT Coffee, a luxury brand synonymous with excellence. Working closely with Green Life JSC, Toan crafted a distinctive coffee experience, from farm to cup.
Innovative Techniques
LKT Coffee's signature "Cà phê mảnh" (Broken Bean Coffee) undergoes a unique process where the coffee bean's shell is removed, yielding a pure and refined flavor. This pioneering technique has garnered international recognition.
Elevating Tradition
Toan's innovative spirit extends to the design of brewing tools. His latest creation, the i-fin, updates traditional Vietnamese coffee filters for a modern, sophisticated coffee experience.
East Meets West
Following the success of his Japanese-inspired coffee and tea fusion in Hoi An, Toan turned his attention to Shan tea. This ancient, snow-covered tea boasts delicate aromas and a golden hue. Traditional processing methods used by the Mông and Dao ethnic groups enhance its distinct flavor profile.
